STUDENT PROGRAMS

INTERNATIONAL GRADUATE ENTREPRENEUR

21+ years of age.
Has completed a two-year full-time diploma/degree in a NS university or Community College.
CLB 7 in English or French.
Reside in NS and hold a valid PGWP when applying.
Start a new business or buy an existing one (100% ownership) in NS and actively managing it for at least1 year before applying.
Receive a salary from the business (meet the LICO as a minimum).
When starting a new business, must create one full-time job (non-relatives).
Submit an Expression of Interest.
Attend an interview.

ENTREPRENEUR

o three years as active business owner-manager (33.33% ownership) OR

o More than five years as senior manager.

SKILLED WORKER

SEMI-SKILLED AND LOW-SKILLED

PHYSICIAN

NOC 3111 and 3112.
Have an approved opportunity with the NS Health Authority or the IWK Health Centre.
Must be eligible for license with the 5 NS.
Must be eligible for license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of NS.
Relevant education and medical training.
Enough language ability to perform the job.

EXPRESS ENTRY – NOVA SCOTIA IN-DEMAND

NOC 0, A, B job offer.
One year of full-time (or equivalent) work experience (NOC 0, A, B) in the last 6 years.
1 year of continuous full-time (or equivalent) work experience in the last 6 years in one of the opportunity occupations.
Have an EE profile.
67 points pass mark.
CLB 7 in English or French.
High school diploma and ECA if obtained outside Canada.

NOVA SCOTIA EXPERIENCE STREAM

21-25 years of age.
One year of full-time (or equivalent) skilled work experience in NS within last 3 years.
