SKILLED WORKER EXPRESS ENTRY

  • 60 points pass mark.
  • Have an Express Entry profile number and job seeker code.
  • One-year post-secondary degree/diploma and ECA (if applicable).
  • NOC 0, A, B work experience:
  • One year in the past 10 years in skilled profession OR
  • Two years in the past 5 years in skilled trade OR
  • One year in the past 3 years in Canada
  • Work experience must be in an occupation in demand.
  • Submit settlement plan.

 

HEALTH PROFESSIONS 

  • Physicians, nurses, other health professionals.
  • Currently working fulltime in SK on valid WP

for at least 6 months.

  • Must be licensed by correspondent Canadian governing bodies.

 

HOSPITALITY SECTOR PROJECT 

  • High school diploma
  • Job offer from an approved SK employer.

Have been working on a valid WP for an approved SK company for the past 6 months in one of the following categories:

  • Food/Beverage server (NOC 6513)
  •  Food counter attendant/Kitchen helper (NOC 6711)
  • Housekeeping/Cleaning staff (NOC 6731)

 

LONG-HAUL TRUCK DRIVERS

  • High school diploma or on-the-job training.
  • Have been working on valid WP for an approved SK trucking company for the past 6 months.
  • Job offer from same employer.
  • Current SK Class 1A driver’s license.
  • CLB 4.
  • Have a valid Job Approval Letter.

 

BUSINESS PROGRAMS

ENTREPRENEUR STREAM

  • Establish, buy or partner in a SK business.
  • Net worth CAD $500,000.
  • Investment: CAD $300,000 in Regina/Saskatoon OR CAD $200,000 in other SK regions.
  • 33.33% ownership or $1,000,000 investment.
  • Three years of relevant business experience in the past ten.
  • Sign Performance Agreement.
  • For Regina/Saskatoon create two job positions (non-relative workers).
  • Business Establishment Plan.

 

FARM OWNERS/OPERATORS

REGULAR STREAM

  • Net worth CAD $500,000.
  • Good faith deposit CAD $75,000 to be refunded within two years after landing and completion of the agreement terms.
  • Farm operation knowledge and experience.
  • Sign Performance Agreement.

 

YOUNG FARMER STREAM 

  • Net worth CAD $300,000.
  • Good faith deposit CAD $75,000.
  • Under 40 years of age.
  • Three years of farm ownership, practical farming or farm management experience.
  • Marketable employment skills.
  • Establish a farm operation in SK.
  • Submit farming proposal:
  • Exploratory visit of at least five working days.

 

WORK PROGRAMS

SKILLED WORKER IN SK

  • Job offer NOC 0, A, B or designated trade.
  • Have worked for more than six months with same SK employer under a valid work permit.
  • Current and offered occupation must be the same.
  • Have a valid Job Approval Letter.

 

SEMI-SKILLED AGRICULTURE WORKER IN SK

  • Job offer NOC 8431/8432.
  • High school diploma.
  • Work Permit in:
  •  Seasonal agriculture
  •  International Experience Class
  • Temporary Foreign Worker

 

SKILLED WORKER OCCUPATIONS IN DEMAND

  • 60 points pass mark.
  • One-year post-secondary degree/diploma.
  • One year of work experience
  • NOC 0, A, B in the past 10 years.
  • Work experience must be in a high-skilled in-demand job.
  • CLB 4.
  • Submit settlement plan.

 

SKILLED WORKER WITH JOB OFFER

  • 60 points pass mark.
  • Have a valid Job Approval Letter.
  • Job offer in NOC 0, A, B or designated trade.
  • 1-year post-secondary degree/diploma.
  • 1 year of work experience in the past 10 years.
  • CLB 4.
