The Express Entry Route: A Two-step process
Step 1: Join the Express Entry Pool
Candidates enter the Express Entry pool and are ranked by the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), which considers age, education, job type, work experience, and language proficiency in English or French. The higher the score, the better the chances of receiving a permanent residency invitation.
Step 2: Receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA)
The government selects a limited number of high-ranking applicants during each draw, and those selected receive an ITA for permanent residency. It’s crucial to submit all necessary documents within 60 days of receiving an ITA.
