Senior Immigration Consultant
As the founder of Beaver Immigration Consulting, Nicholas brings a wide range of both business experience and immigration knowledge. As a Canadian citizen who successfully immigrated to South Africa, he understands the economic and emotional challenges associated with starting a new life in a foreign country. Prior to moving to South Africa, he worked in the Canadian banking sector as a commercial underwriter. He developed structured debt products for syndicated commercial mortgages in the real estate industry. He knows how to get deals done.
Through his commercial experience, he focuses on business immigration programs. Nicholas has assisted companies from around the world move to Canada to find new commercial opportunities. His primary focus area is working with start-up companies and mature firms that wish to immigrate to Canada through the federal Start-up Visa program. Coupled with this, Nicholas works with Canadian business incubators and investors to bring innovative entrepreneurs to Canada.
Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University and his Masters in Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business, York University. As well as a Masters in Finance (MCom) at the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business.
Richard Leuce – BA, B.Com, RCIC
Senior Immigration Consultant
Immigration law is Richard’s passion. He first encountered the intricacies and complexity of the Canadian immigration system with his family as a new Canadian at a young age. With over 14 years of experience in the industry, he continuously seeks to increase his immigration-related knowledge to help immigrants realize their dreams.
Richard has hands-on experience as he has previous experience as a former senior Border Services Officer at Toronto’s Pearson Airport. In this role, he performed various immigration-related activities, including the issuance of work and study permits, temporary resident permits, and effectuating permanent residence landings, among others. After developing his expertise in passenger operations from a public sector point of view, he then obtained his license as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant. While working on obtaining his immigration license, he began working with a large law firm as an Immigration Case Manager; after only 9 months, he was promoted to Immigration Consultant.
Other work experience includes Manager – Immigration Practice Group with Dale & Lessmann LLP, a downtown Toronto law firm. In this role, he assisted international clients in developing their business operations in Canada. His clients ranged from large multinational corporations to start-up companies seeking to establish new and innovative technologies in Canada. In this role, he developed relationships with business stakeholders, from HR managers to Presidents and C-suite executives.
Richard also works as an Online Instructor through the University of British Columbia, teaching Canadian immigration law. He currently holds a BA and B.Com from the University of Guelph.
Senior Case Manager
With over three years of experience in the Canadian immigration industry as a senior caseworker, Lynn understands the importance of putting together a robust application on behalf of her clients. She prides herself on customer service and satisfaction as she works with families, businesses, and individuals that have chosen to take the leap of faith to start a new life in Canada.
Lynn believes in hard work and dedication to achieve her goals. After traveling extensively in her early years, Lynn decided that immigration would be the perfect career path. It would allow her to combine her passion for people and love for travel.
